Brand development & website design for edible flowers

Tamsin Wilson of The Secret Garden is one of those incredible can-do Kiwi business owners forging into new territory. Tamsin's dream was to produce a premium consumer brand of edible flowers and specialty produce to supply to select retail and food service outlets.

The brief was open - we had to make it past the stringent test of Tamsin's design instinct and discerning close circle of friends. Our first attempt, while of merit, fell short. Our second concept flew through and logo design has now been applied to website design, branding materials and packaging designs

Illuminate By Design used macro photography of select flowers and produce to create a wonderland of colour and vibrancy. The brand is simple yet understated, leaving the imagery to tell the brand story and engage customers.

Tamsin was also wanting guidance on how best to promote her new brand. Donna Davies, PR Consultant and Illuminate By Design worked together to align several social media strategies and action activities like Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

Donna works to feed PR stories into mainstream media channels and Tamsin updates her Instagram and Pinterest account very regularly with inspirational content from her travels and daily work in The Secret Garden.
